Brightwell cum Sotwell Jubilee Pavilion at the Recreation Ground, Mackney Lane is located between the peaceful village of Brightwell cum Sotwell and the Hamlet of Mackney in the South and is 2 miles from Wallingford on Thames to the East and 3 Miles from Didcot to the West in South Oxfordshire.
The Recreation Ground was purchased by the Brightwell Parish Council in 1897 has had a pavilion in one form or another for over 120 Years. The present Jubilee Pavilion was built in 2003 to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The facilities include the main hall and kitchen, toilets and two sports changing rooms with showers on suite. The main hall is used during the week by the Scout Group - Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, as well as for Yoga, Drama and Dancing Classes plus Cricket and Football Clubs during their respective seasons.
The main hall is ideal for holding children's birthday parties as well as family celebrations.

Pavilion Licensed for use by up to 80 people. Licensed for music with ceiling sound insulation – Subject to specific hours of the day on the license.

Car Park – Tarmac Surface – for 20 cars – additional parking available by prior agreement on the recreation ground.
Junior size football pitch – 11 Years and below.
Adult FA and league approved size football pitch and goals.

Cricket Ground – 50 & 60 metre Boundaries.

If the date or time that you wish to book is already showing as booked or reserved, please contact us as it still may be available.
Following confirmation of your booking by email from the Hallmaster System, we will send you an invoice. Payment is then due to secure the booking.
Prior to the date of your booking we will meet with you to go through the opening and closing procedures, hand over the keys and explain how to return the keys after use.
